Assam Government has released two employment notifications for the recruitment of 26441 Grade III & Grade IV Vacancy under the various departments of Govt. These vacancies will be filled up by the recruitment rules framed by the newly constituted Assam Direct Recruitment Commission for Analogous Posts in Class III and Class IV Act 2021 and Assam Direct Recruitment for Class III and Class IV Analogous Posts Rules 2022. A single written exam along with a skill test will be held for each category of posts and a merit list will be prepared accordingly for an appointment.
The written exam will be conducted by the respective State Level Recruitment Commissions at various centers across the state. The candidates are required to appear in both written exams and skill tests as per category-wise vacancies if they are eligible to get selected based on their marks scored in the written exam or through the merit list prepared after the completion of the selection process.

Selection Process of Assam Govt Recruitment for 26441 Grade III & Grade IV Vacancy 2022
Assam Direct Recruitment Commission will conduct separate competitive examinations for the selection of candidates for different categories of posts. Accordingly, the commission will select candidates for recommendation on merit, in order of higher Grade Pay taking into consideration reservations for SC, ST, OBC, and other categories.
The examinations shall be held separately on different dates so as to enable higher degree holders to appear in more than one examination.
Bachelor’s Degree Level

Merit List
The preparation of a merit list for appointment against the various categories of posts will be executed through the following stages.
- On the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination, a list of all candidates shall be prepared in order of merit.
- Additionally, minimum qualifying marks, of the marks obtained in the written examination, for General Candidates and Candidates belonging to the different reserved categories, shall be determined by the Commission to shortlist candidates, from the above list, to be called for the Computer test/another test/ practical test in a ratio to be decided by the Commission.
- The Commission shall determine minimum qualifying marks for Computer tests/other tests/ practical tests.
- Candidates securing less than the qualifying marks in the Computer test/ other test/ practical test shall not be eligible for selection. # The final merit list for Class III and IV posts shall be based on the total marks obtained in the written examination and Computer Test or Other Test or Interview.
